Food Waste Disposers
A simple and efficient way to reduce waste and save money
Wash your waste, not your money down the drain. Hobart food waste disposers allow you to wash your food scraps and leftovers down the drain. It’s a simple, efficient and economical way to dispose of your food waste. The operator merely has to push the food scraps and leftovers down the drain and flip the switch to grind the waste into tiny particles. Not only will you reduce the amount and weight of your total waste, you’re also saving money required for hauling, liners and labor.
EASY TO — USE AND MAINTAIN
No hassle operation and upkeep make for the perfect machine.
Just push the waste into the opening and, while running cold water, turn on the unit. They’re easy on the ears, too. A vinyl isolating ring at the cone mounting eliminates metal-to-metal contact, reducing both vibration and noise. When it’s ready for service, removing the motor is a snap.
LOWER OWNERSHIP COST
Hobart food waste disposers live up to the Hobart tradition of longevity and durability.
The workhorse motor features continuous-duty rating, capable of constant load service for more than 60-minute intervals. To make sure the machine keeps running, it comes with manual reset thermal overload inherent protection. Among other heavy duty features, the grind and discharge housings are made of heavy aluminum.
MADE FOR MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY
HARDENED STAINLESS STEEL CUTTER BLOCKS
Both cutter blocks are crafted of heavy duty stainless steel, are replaceable and can be indexed to offer new cutting edges.
MOUNTED BREAKER BLADE
To prevent food waste from “riding” on the center, the flywheel has a breaker blade mounted at the center, accelerating the grinding action of the disposer.
Slots that undercut the shredder ring add another layer of protection to help reduce the food waste to a suitable size.
DUAL DIRECTION GRINDING
When stuck on a particularly challenging piece of waste, dual directional grinding not only increases the efficiency of the disposer but also prolongs its life.
PREMIUM SHREDDER RINGS
Four machine-ground primary-action breaker bars and 42 secondary-action grinding teeth come standard to help break down food waste.
